Food is an important part of our life and necessity of our body. The use of five things after meals can be very dangerous for our health. For keeping good health, eating healthy food on time is very important. Some of us use different things after having food but one should avoid the following five actions after taking meals to avoid adverse effects.

Smoking:- Experts say that smoking soon after taking meals is very injurious to the body because it has bad effects on our intestines. One who does so will also have increased chances of heart disease and lung cancer.

Tea and Coffee:- In South Asian countries especially right after supper the large number of people take tea or coffee. But experts say that we should at least wait an hour before taking any sort of tea or coffee after our meals so that the body can absorb as much iron as possible. This is a natural physiological process that should not be inhibited.food

Fruits:- Fruits are the healthiest things for us but consumption of fruits soon after food can become obstacle in digestion. Having fruits early in the morning, after having a glass of water, can be very effective in terms of their nutritive values.food

Sleeping:- People who sleep after consuming food are unaware of its negative effects. Sleeping soon after eating not only causes digestive problems but also causes weight gain.food

Shower/Bath:- Some people like to take shower before going to bed. Having shower after food increases the temperature of our body. It also increases the blood flow in your skin hence body loses focus on digestion as it requires more energy to carry out full digestion of the food . So waiting for 30 to 45 minutes after taking meals is beneficial for health.food
