Coco butter, coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera and vitamin E work as a conditioner. Coat your lips with honey, petroleum gel or any lip balm before going to bed. Massage of vitamin E content can help a lot too.

Check the ingredients of a lip product before buying. Some products contain certain chemicals that can cause irritation and dryness in lips. Always use a lip primer before applying such products (it could be a lipstick or lip gloss).

Products containing ingredients like; almond oil, aloe vera, cocoa butter, avocado oil, jojoba oil, sunflower oil or vitamin E are best to use.

Avoid to use the products containing alcohol, camphor, menthol, phenol or any fragrance.

Delicate skin of the lips needs to be protected from sun. The sunscreen in your lip product keeps your lips safe from sun. A product with at least SP 15 is strongly recommended.

Removal of the dead skin will give your lips a new fresh look and a subtle feel as well. Don’t expose your lips to sun after exfoliation without using a sunscreen.

A balanced rich nutrient diet and a healthy lifestyle prevents you from lots of problems. Vitamin A, B, C and E keep your skin healthy. Foods like yogurt, beans, almonds and broccoli, walnuts and salmon are good for skin nourishment. Smoking, eating junk foods and drinking excessive alcohol damages your skin very badly.
