Pedicure at Home Easy Steps for Beautiful Feet

Beautiful feet are an important element of a beautiful personality. But many people face the problem of cracked heels and can’t wear sandals. This cracking may lead to injured bleeding feet as well. Therefore timely precautions should be taken and heels should be treated and cured. You don’t need to go to a saloon for a pedicure anymore.

Here I will give you 10 simple home remedies that will help you to soothe your cracked heels and will make your feet pretty.

  1. Warm water bath       pedicure

Take a basin filled with warm water. Add salt, lemon juice, glycerin and rose water two table spoon each in it and soak your feet in it for 15-20 minutes. Scrub your heels and sides of the feet with the help of a foot brush or scrubber.

After this prepare a mixture with 1-teaspoon glycerin, 1-teaspoon rose water and 1-teaspoon lemon juice. Apply this sticky mixture on your heels and wear socks. Let it work for few hours. You can leave it overnight. Wash it clean with warm water in the morning.

  1. Vegetable Oil:

Dry skin is the major cause of cracked heels. After washing and cleaning your feet with warm water apply some vegetable oil to eliminate dryness. Wear socks. Let it work overnight and wash it out in the morning. After few days you will see a visible improvement.pedicure

  1. Banana, Green Coconutpedicure

Take the pulp of a banana, mash it into a fine paste and apply on heels for 10-15 minutes. Wash it with lukewarm water.

You can make a foot mask by adding a banana in half avocado or green coconut. Blend it well to make a thick paste and apply it on cracked heels. It will not only heal the heals but make them softer too.

  1. Vaseline and Lemon Juice:

Make a solution of Vaseline and lemon juice by adding 1 tea spoon of each. Apply it on your washed dried feet completely. Rub it well till it get absorbed in the skin. Let it work overnight. And wash it off in the morning.

  1. Paraffin Wax:pedicure

Take 1 teaspoon of paraffin wax and mix it with 2 teaspoons of mustard oil or coconut oil. Heat the mixture well till the wax get mixed with the oil. Let it cool down at room temperature and apply it on your cracked heels. It works magic for painful cracked heels.

  1. Honey:pedicure

Honey is a great healer for your heels. Mix two table spoon of honey in a basin of warm water and soak your feet in it for 15-20 minutes. Scrub them off gently. It will moisturize your feet.

  1. Rice Flour:

Many foot scrubs are available in the market but you can make your own foot scrub at home with the help of some very easily available kitchen stuff. Take 3 tablespoons of ground rice, 1 table spoon of honey and apple cider vinegar each. Make a thick paste and your scrub is ready. Soften your feet’s skin by dipping them in warm water for few minutes. Scrub off dirt and dead skin with your homemade foot scrub.

  1. Olive Oil:pedicure

Virgin oil is one of the best home remedies for cracked heels. Massage your heels with extra virgin olive oil in circular movements. You can make a foot cream by adding 1-tablespoon of olive oil with few drops of lemon juice and an equal amount of water. keep this mixture in a bottle and use it according to your need.

  1. Oatmeal:

Make a thick paste by adding equal amounts of oatmeal and jojoba oil.  Apply it well on your washed feet and let it work for an hour. Wash it out with fresh water. you can repeat this procedure every second day for better and quicker results.

Pedicure at a parlor is not only time consuming but it costs you a lot as well.
